TOUR POSTERS
A poster design assignment from high school. I love both Last Dinosaurs the band as well as their visual style with their album covers!
Overview
This was a final project I did using Photoshop back in high school. We were required to make 2 matching posters that promote an event or product. I decided to create hypothetical tour posters for Last Dinosaurs, mimicking the style of their "From Mexico with Love" album cover. Overall, a simple yet effective poster that I am still quite proud of :D!
Outcomes
I learned how to extend images on Photoshop with content-aware fill and the stamp tool. Since I used aspects from the cover, I was working with a limited photo ratio and had to persevere. I wanted it to look like their other tour posters, who had a similar style to one of their albums, but also professional. In the end, typography and image rearrangement saved the day!
